Welcome to my blog, my name is Cora Fitzgerald. To get started with, I am a very outgoing person and love children. I have a very bubbly personality and am very easy to talk to. Throughout my education I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I could read all day if I had the chance and writing was always a way for me to express my feelings and thoughts, as well as relieve stress.
I am a Wyoming native, growing up on my family’s cattle ranch, 30 miles outside of the small town of Moorcroft. I attended Kindergarten through Senior year at the public school in Moorcroft. In 2013 I graduated high school and continued my education at the community college in Sheridan Wyoming and then went on to attend Chadron State majoring in Special Education with an endorsement in Elementary Education, reading and sports coaching.
I have a twin brother Cole, a little sister Larissa, and many cousins. My little cousins are my pride and joy and I have enjoyed watching them grow and being a part of their lives. My family is a very close knitted and all live and work on the ranch. My family have always been my rock and with out them I would not be the person I am today nor I would not have the chance to follow my dreams.
My great-granny Eunice was a teacher at the H-Kay Country school where she taught K-8. As a child she would tell me all kinds of stories that took place in the one room school house. She is the reason I choose education as a life long career. Her husband, my great grandpa Joe, taught me that hard work and dedication is the most important attributes in life, and I hope to show that in my classroom.
I have been involved in many different organization such as Future Farmers of America, (FFA) which I served as Reporter, Sentinel ,and President. I have been the announcer and timer for Crook County Horseman Rodeo, (CCHA) organization, and also have been on missions trips with my church. I have a passion for these organizations and take pride in any position I am in.
There’s a little bit about me! I look forward to hearing and blogging with you all!! If you have any questions along the way, just let me know I would be more than willing to answer them for you!
